The Mantica name and identity are inspired by the praying mantis. She is elegant and mysterious, delicate and self-assured, motionless yet perfectly poised to act.
The mantis embodies a contrast that also reflects sexuality: control and surrender, silence and intensity, tenderness and strength. Her posture resembles a ritual, while her movements carry focus, patience, and instinct.
In our visual world, the mantis meets the orchid. The orchid symbolizes beauty, sensuality, and rarity, as well as transformation and the ability to hide in plain sight. This union creates Mantica’s dark botanical world, where chocolate tones, velvet, soft pastels, and organic forms carry a quiet eroticism.
